Cabinet Secretaries and other top Administration officials are visiting state fairs this summer and fall to discuss ongoing efforts to address issues important to rural America.

From OFA Deputy Director Jeremy Bird:
The weekend of August 28th will mark 66 days until the November elections -- and many states will begin early voting even sooner.
So we've circled that weekend on the calendar and set an ambitious goal: 200,000 doors knocked by OFA volunteers in just 48 hours.
Along with our partners for change in Congress, we're organizing Moving America Forward events across the country -- where we'll get the same commitments to vote that the President emailed about on Thursday.
But if we're going to reach out to 200,000 voters nationally, we'll need folks across the country to step up and host a canvass on August 28th or 29th.
Will you be one of them?Don't worry -- no experience hosting an event is necessary, and we'll provide all the materials and guidance you'll need to be successful.
All you'll need to do is figure out where you want to start -- it could be your living room, a nearby park, or anywhere else that makes sense.
And once you sign up, we'll make sure to help get some of your neighbors out to your event.
What do you say? Reaching out to 200,000 voters in 48 hours is a big goal -- will you be one of the hosts who helps us get there?
Thanks,
Jeremy
